Went to John Lewis but lengthy processes and restrictive car parking put me off. Then I found they aren’t John Lewis anymore – they’re Carpetright! – They don’t tell you that! We needed a parquet tile floor restoring. Hertford Flooring did a great job at a reasonable price. John Lewis just wanted to sell me a new floor!
I’ve been using Hertford Flooring for about 25 years, Neil’s team laid the whole of my ground floor originally and it has served us well. Recently we have had a wall removed to make a kitchen/dining room and they blocked in the gap with wood to match, then they sanded and waxed the whole area – it looks like new! I have to say Judi and Sara were very helpful and informative too.
We originally had a Bamboo Floor fitted by Hertford Flooring in 2000. Since then we have had the whole ground floor and the floor in the Pilates Studio fitted with the same flooring. We have just had the original floor (entry hall/kitchen/dining room) sanded and revarnished. The team were polite, hardworking and meticulous, just as we had grown to expect. The original floor had withstood the test of time brilliantly and has now been restored to its former glory.
Following a water leak our kitchen floor suffered damage to some of the floorboards. Keen to avoid the expense and considerable upheaval of having to replace the entire floor I asked Hertford Flooring to take a look and let’s just say they were able to work miracles. I had a pack of unopened planks which despite the passage of time had not faded. Even a trained eye would struggle to see a repair had been made!
